Excellent care. Prompt attention. Care is number 1....this is the best hospital in Toronto. I feel terrible for anyone who has had. A bad experience in our hospital. . We have never had any problems with the staff. We in this area are very lucky to have the service we do here in Orangeville. Anyone who has had a bad experience with Headwaters hospital should take it up with them when feeling better. And by the way it’s not the hospital s fault it’s our Governments . Which only we the public can change that this year . We have the power to make changes for the good so no one who is ill has a bad experience.

A rookie MD shows up a few minutes later asking the same questions all over again, does some nice guessing. With zero testing, poor level of knowledge and terrible beside manner they certainly leave much to be desired.

Fortunately our baby's family doctor is completely the opposite with a wealth of knowledge , great bed side manner and fantastic personality. A visit to her office a couple of hour later during business hours, a sound diagnosis and on the spot treatment make her good as new.

Why they have put her in the front is way beyond me. After doing a half-ass vitals, the give you a paper and send you off to their registration area down the hall with a crying baby to complete their paperwork. Terrible and most inefficient system I have ever seen, maybe they should ask me next time to bring them back a coffee too?!!!. You then have to wait for registration as they put your OHIP info into their system so they get paid. They send you off back to the waiting area after and the waiting game begins.

After waiting for 4.5 hours and without providing any information or any doing further check up on the baby they eventually call you into the treatment area and put you in a dingy room to wait for another 30 mins before a nurse shows up so we can just repeat the process of explaining what is wrong all over again.

This an ER visit review. I see some good reviews on this hospital and I'm assuming they are not an ER review.

We have tax funded public health care in this country? What public health care? You pay all sort of taxes through the nose for healthcare, service provided is a third world care at the best.

If you can handle the drive go to the hospital in Fergus or the new one in Brampton. This hospital is RIDICULOUS. Average wait time on a good night is 5-6 hours and good nights rarely happen. If you have to go in in the afternoon or evening good luck going to work the next day without sleep. A few nights ago I went in for a potential broken rib and I had a cold. Everytime I was coughing I was groaning loudly in pain. We sat there for 2 hours and NO ONE was called in. Luckily I we called an after hours clinic that was still open. If you're part of the Dufferin Family Health Network check to see if you have access to the Rolling Hills Pharmacy Clinic next door to the hospital. You have to pay for parking but they are open late.

Excellent care, only negative was Dr Joshi was an narcissistic, self-centered, pompous arse, with basically incorrect medical knowledge..Get rid of him, and a definite 5 stars

Last visit was the tipping point, baby had strap throat and it was in early morning around 5AM. Same inefficient process, long wait with only one other person in the waiting area. They saw us at 9AM as we just found out their rookie MD just showed up then. Waited 4 hours because they had no doctor on site!!! No testing, more guessing again! Shame on them for making a baby suffer for that long and not disclosing any information while you wait, they don't do any treatment there anyhow. They send you off to drug store to pick up a medication or see your family doc after making the baby wait 4 hours in pain.

First visit was in the early evening: Reception (Triage) was very unfriendly, did not posses any people skill, did not have a clue on how to handle a sick baby.

Having a little baby we had no so much the pleasure of needing to go this hospital three times already after-hours. Here is my report on one of our visits, the other two were not any different.

I have to point out minus the first visit they were hardly anyone in the waiting area. 3-4 people at the most, but the wait time was consistently 4-5 hours. There is zero information provided while you wait in the ER waiting room & they check to see if you dead or alive. They all made it very clear, do they don't give a damn.
